M'LADIES of the LAKE

Sharing our adventures

Memories of many adventures

MATILDA ROSE'S M'LADIES of the LAKE
have enjoyed lots of
RED HAT FUN & FRIENDSHIPS

The pages of this site reports on the history and ongoing adventures
of the Chapter.

Matilda’s Ladies of the Lake Chapter (M’Ladies of the Lake) was opened up to members at Lena’s Cafe, Warners Bay in November 2006.

The inaugural gathering of the group took place at the Royal Abode on 10 December 2006. 7 new members (Vicki, Lynn, Di, Kath, Diana, Pauline and Annette) shared their many suggestions for activities to come. The 2 Robyn’s (D&G) were unable to attend. The ambitions of the attendees was to have a variety of events, both elegant and casual affairs and at all times, anticipated fellowship amongst our sisters with an element of fun.

We formulated our Mission Statement :

To create a unique sisterhood as we all embrace the process of growing "wiser" together and to spread the word around that age is only a state of mind. We are here to support and encourage each other on this journey called "womanhood" hoping to have some good laughs and develop and nurture our friendships along the way.

We decided that themed activities would add a little more interest, for the first luncheon the M’Ladies came “With Bells On” to celebrate the Festive Season.  It was to be the first of many celebrations at Christmas time and countless activities held throughout the following years.
